CAS Cable began in 1977 when the owner purchased a small antenna television system in Washington, WV in order to work for himself.  This small system sold over the air television channels to customers within sight of the antenna tower, what we know as NBC, CBS and ABC channels today. 

This business evolved into a cable television system, built by the owner, physically connecting his new headend next to the antenna tower to houses with an actual cable line.  This system provided much better television reception than an over the air tower could provide and allowed him to sell more channels and services. 

Gradually, the internet took off and he could use that same physical connection with a cable modem in the home to sell internet services alongside the cable video service.  Finally, along came digital phone service and the triple-play product was created (cable+internet+phone). 

What started as a desire to be his own boss grew into a state of the art advanced communication system unrivaled by those in cities all across the country.  CAS still offers the fastest speeds around, the best service available and will always put its customers first.

All of us working for CAS realize how important our services are to our customers.  We live in an age when no one really ever unplugs from technology.  Our core mission is to keep our services on all the time, but when something happens (storms, power failures, equipment failures, etc.), we work to get our services back up as quickly as possible.
